Christmas Fever

In this tutorial I used the art of Eugene Rzhevskii.
You need a license to use Eugene's art.
I purchased mine for this tube from My PSP Tubes but
they are now available here.

The kit I used is called "Christmas Fever" and is by
This is a fantastic, brightly coloured kit with tons of elements,
I loved it!
You can get it here.

You will also need a mask, I used Weescotslass' mask 84, here.

Font is AL Dreamboat, here.

Remember to sharpen up those elements after resizing/rotating, otherwise your tag will look a little blurry; you can check out my Tips and Tricks page for more info.

I used a drop shadow throughout of vertical and horizontal 2, opacity 75, blur 5.

Open a new transparent canvas 650 by 600 pixels and flood fill with white.

Open SkyScraps-pp3 and copy.  Make a new layer on your canvas, select all, paste the paper into the selection, deselect and apply the mask.

Open SkyScraps-e54 and paste as a new layer.  Resize 110%, move to the left very slightly and apply the drop shadow.

Open SkyScraps-E3 and paste as a new layer.  Resize 50%, move over to the right and apply the drop shadow.

Open your tube and paste as a new layer, resize if needed, place in position and apply the drop shadow.  I resized 85%.

Open SkyScraps-E28 and paste as a new layer.  Resize 35%, drag down below the Christmas tree and place in position.

Open SkyScraps-pp3 again and copy.  Select the interior of the frame with your magic wand and expand the selection by 10, make a new layer below it and paste the paper into the selection.  Do not deselect.

Open your tube again and mirror it, copy and paste as a new layer, resize as needed and position inside the frame, invert the selection and hit delete to remove the excess, deselect.  Apply the drop shadow to the tube and the frame.

Open SkyScraps-E9 and paste as a new layer.  Drag up so its just below the main tube, mirror, resize 45%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Open SkyScraps-E8 and paste as a new layer.  Resize 40%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Open SkyScraps-E14 and paste as a new layer.  Resize 30%, rotate 90 degrees to the right and mirror, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Open SkyScraps_10 and paste as a new layer.  Resize 35% and rotate 20 degrees to the left, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Open SkyScraps-E20 and paste as a new layer.  Resize 35%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Open SkyScraps-E5, paste as a new layer and bring to the top.  Mirror, resize 35%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Open SkyScraps-E12 and paste as a new layer.  Resize 20%, drag down below the train, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Check the positions of your layers and make any necessary adjustments.  When you are happy, crop your tag and add your copyright information and text, then export as a jpeg with compression set to 5 or on a transparent background as a png.

I hope you enjoyed this tutorial, if you have any questions, please email me here.  As always, I would love to see your result and include it in the gallery!
