Paste element 16 as a new layer, resize 70%, drag below the merged layer, duplicate, mirror and flip the duplicate, place both copies into position and apply the drop shadow to each.

Paste your tube as a new layer on the top, resize as needed, place in position and apply the drop shadow.  I resized my tube 70%.

Just an Angel

In this tutorial I used the art of
Gina King.
You need a license to use Gina’s art, available at

I used a gorgeous kit inspired by this tube (3-3) from
The kit is also available for purchase at

You will need a background mask, I used mask 1 from
and also the mask

I used the font

If this is the first of my tutorials you have followed, please check out my “About my tutorials” page before you start, thank you.

Unless otherwise noted, I used a drop shadow of vertical and horizontal 5, opacity 75, blur 10.

Open a new transparent canvas 650 by 600 pixels and fill with white.

Copy Paper 03, make a new layer on your canvas, select all, paste the paper into the selection, deselect and apply Melissaz’ mask.  Resize 95% and rotate 5 degrees to the left.

Paste Frame 03 as a new layer, resize 60% and move down a little.  Select the interior of the frame with your magic wand, expand the selection by 30 and make a new layer below it, paste paper 03 into the selection, deselect.

Paste your tube as a new layer, position in the frame resizing as needed and apply the drop shadow.  We want a nice deep shadow on the frame so apply the shadow to it but changing the opacity to 100 and blur to 30. I resized the tube 70%.

Paste Element 01 as a new layer, resize 40%, duplicate and mirror the duplicate, drag below the frame and paper layers and position both copies on the left.  Duplicate the original copy again, resize it another 90% and position on the right.  Apply the drop shadow to each copy (don’t forget to change the settings back).

Paste Element 11 as a new layer, resize 30%,  rotate 30 degrees to the left and position in front of the candles.  Duplicate this layer, mirror the duplicate, resize it another 80%, drag it up and position it on the frame.  Apply the drop shadow to each copy.

Paste element 10 as a new layer, resize 70% and flip, drag below the top flower, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste Element 16 as a new layer.  Resize 53%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste Element 17 as a new layer, resize 57%, place in position,  apply the drop shadow and then erase some sections around the beads so it looks like they are twisted around each other.

Paste Element 04 as a new layer and bring to the top, resize 30%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste Element 13 as a new layer, resize 30% and rotate 30 degrees to the left, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste Element 06 as a new layer, resize 30%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste Wordart 02 as a new layer, resize 40%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Check your layers now and make any necessary adjustments.

Open your tube again or the close up if you have one, duplicate it and close the original.  Crop the tube around her head leaving as much space as possible to the right of her; something like my screenshot below.  Apply the 20-20 mask then copy the tube,  paste it on your tag positioning just above the mask and lower the opacity to around 40.  If you need to blend the tube in a bit more, do so using your eraser size 50 and opacity set to 10.

Paste Element 14 as new layer, resize 50% and rotate 90 degrees to the left, drag down to just above the mask, duplicate, position so some show in the top left hand corner and some down the bottom on the right erasing any you don’t need, then lower the opacity to around 20.

When you are done, crop your tag, add your copyright information and text, then export on a transparent background as a png.

Moroccan Mood

In this tutorial I used the fabulous layered tube “Aqua Sirene”
from the latest pack 56 from
Barbara Jensen.
You can purchase the tube at

The kit is called “Moroccon Mood” by
This is a gorgeous colourful kit and can also be purchased at

You will also need a mask, I used mask 0120 by Simone at

I used the font
Tutorial includes instructions on the text.

Please check out my “About my tutorials” page before you start if this is the first tutorial of mine you have followed, thank you.

I used a drop shadow of vertical and horizontal 5, opacity 85, blur 10.

Open a new transparent canvas 650 by 600 pixels and fill with white.

Copy paper 1, make a new layer on your canvas, select all, paste the paper into the selection, deselect, mirror the paper and apply the mask.  Resize 95%.  Apply the blinds text on the mask with my settings in the screenshot below, colour #240802 then repeat with the Horizontal box checked.  The only reason I mirrored the paper was because the brighter colours on the right side of the paper showed the frame up better.

Paste element 23 as a new layer, resize 65% and move up and to the right, duplicate and move the duplicate down and to the left, apply the drop shadow to each copy.

Paste element 6 as a new layer and resize 60%.  Select the interior with your magic wand, expand the selection by 10 and make a new layer below it, copy paper 10 and paste it into the selection, deselect.  Apply the drop shadow to the element, merge it down onto the paper and place in position.

Paste element 10 as a new layer, resize 55%, mirror and place in position.  Again select the interior with your magic wand, expand the selection as before and make a new layer below it, copy paper 2 and paste it into the selection.  Open your tube or close up, mirror it and paste it as a new layer, position in the frame resizing as needed, invert the selection and hit delete to remove the excess, deselect.  Apply the drop shadow to the tube, change the blend mode to “Luminance Legacy” and merge it down onto the paper, then apply the two blinds textures with the same settings you used on the mask.  Apply the drop shadow to the frame.  I used the close up tube resized 75%.

Now paste your main tube as a new layer, resize as needed, place in position and apply the drop shadow.  I resized this tube 70%.

Paste element 21 as a new layer, resize 60%, drag below the main tube, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 11 as a new layer, resize 80%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 30 as a new layer, resize 50% and rotate 20 degrees to the left, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 28 as a new layer, resize 50% and position on the right.  Duplicate this layer, flip the duplicate, drag it below element 11 and position on the left.  Apply the drop shadow to each copy.

Paste element 26 as a new layer and drag up to just below the tube, resize 60%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 26 as a new layer, resize 70%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 14 as a new layer, resize 45%, mirror, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 9 as a new layer, resize 35% and mirror, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 25 as a new layer and bring to the top, resize 55%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 8 as a new layer, resize 35%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 3 as a new layer, resize 40% and rotate 20 degrees to the right, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 7 as a new layer, resize 60% and flip, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 2 as a new layer, resize 30%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Check the positions of your layers and make any necessary adjustments, when you are done crop your tag and add your copyright information.

Pick two colours for your text, open your font, set the foreground to 2, type your text and convert it to a raster layer.  Select the text, float it, defloat it and contract the selection by 2, then make a new layer above it.  Go to Effects – 3D Effects – Cutout, apply the cut out on the new blank layer with the settings in my screen shot below with the colour black then deselect.  Merge this layer down onto the text layer and apply the drop shadow.

When you are done, save  your tag on a transparent background as a png.

Glam and Glitter

In this tutorial I used the fabulous art of
Alex Prihodko,
You need a license to use Alex’ art, available at

I used a kit called “Glam it Up” by
This beautiful kit can be purchased at

You will also need a mask, I used Big Mask 017 by
Vix.

I used the font

Please check out my “About my tutorials” page if this is the first tutorial of mine you have followed.

I used a drop shadow of vertical 0, horizontal 5, opacity 85, blur 10.

Open a new transparent canvas 700 by 600 pixels, fill with white, go to Selections – Select All.

Paste Paper_6 as a new layer and go to Image – Crop to Selection and then apply the mask.

Paste Frame_6b as a new layer, resize 60%, select each section of the frame with your magic wand, expand the selection by 5, make a new layer below the frame and fill with black, deselect.  We will come back to this.

Paste Element_5 as a new layer on the top, resize 35%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste Spray_3 as a new layer, resize 80%, drag below the layer you filled with black, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste Element_11 as a new layer, resize 55%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste Element_12 as a new layer, resize 55%, mirror, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste your tube as a new layer and bring to the top, resize as needed, place in position and apply the drop shadow.  I resized my tube 33%.

Paste Element_48 as a new layer, resize 40% and mirror, drag below the tube, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste Element_21b as a new layer, resize 38%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste Element_37 as a new layer, resize 40%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste Element_10 as a new layer, resize 30% and rotate 10 degrees to the right, duplicate, mirror the duplicate and move over to the left.  Apply the drop shadow to each.

Paste Element_2a as a new layer, resize 30%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste Element_55 as a new layer, resize 33%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste Element_49 as a new layer, resize 35%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste Worldart_1 as a new layer, resize 65%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste Element_7 as a new layer, resize 50% and flip, drag right down until it is just above the frame and position on the left, duplicate and move the duplicate over to the right, erase any parts that overlap hiding the join behind the tube and apply the drop shadow to each.

Paste Element_38 as a new layer and drag up above the tube,  resize 35% and flip, position directly in front of the tube and apply the drop shadow.

Paste Element_34 as a new layer, resize 70% and rotate 70 degrees to the right, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste Element_42 as a new layer and bring to the top, resize 45%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste Element_3b as a new layer, resize 25%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste Element_40 as a new layer, resize 30%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste Element_53 as a new layer, resize 37%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Check  your layers now and make any necessary adjustments. I duplicated the Spray_3 layer and moved the copy down so just a little showed at the bottom of the tag.

Paste your tube again, drag it between the frame and the layer filled with black and, resizing as needed, position it in the top, left hand circle of the frame.  Select that section of the frame with your magic wand and expand the selection as before, invert the selection and hit delete on the tube to remove the excess, deselect.  Repeat this with the other two circles of the frame and the tube mirrored.   I resized the tube in the top circle 65%, the one in the circle on the right 50% and the one in the bottom circle 45%.  Lower the opacity on the tubes to around 50 and apply the drop shadow to the frame.

Paste your tube again as a new layer on the top, rotate it 30 degrees to the left and close it off.

Paste Element_20a as a new layer, resize 33%, rotate 30 degrees to the left and place in position.  Click anywhere on the canvas outside of the element to make a selection, invert the selection and contract it by 3, make a new layer below the element and fill with black.  Open the tube you rotated and, resizing as needed, position it in the mirror, invert the selection and hit delete to remove the excess, deselect.  Apply the drop shadow to the mirror with the box “Shadow on a new layer” checked then drag the tube up so it is between the mirror and the shadow.   Merge the mirror down onto the tube, merge down again onto the shadow and down again onto the black layer.  I resized the tube here 33%.

Paste Spray_6 as a new layer, resize 60% and place in position.

Paste Element_30 as a new layer, resize 30%, duplicate mirror the duplicate, place each butterfly in position and apply the drop shadow to each.

When you are all done, crop your tag, add your copyright information and text, then export as a png on a transparent background.
