Thank you Simone!
I used a drop shadow of vertical and horizontal 5, opacity 85, blur 10.
Open a new transparent canvas 850 by 700 and fill with white.
Make a new layer, select all, paste paper 3 into the selection, deselect, apply the mask and resize it 90%.
Paste splatter 3, place in position and apply the drop shadow.
Paste the tube without the wings, resize 75%, place in position and apply the drop shadow. I desaturated my tube.
Paste frame 8, resize 30% and rotate 20 degrees to the right, drag below the tube and place in position. Select the interior of the frame with your magic wand, expand the selection by 20, make a new layer below the frame and fill with black. Paste the tube again, position in the frame, invert the selection and hit delete. Change the blend mode on the tube to “Luminous Legacy” and lower the opacity to around 55 and apply the drop shadow to the frame.
Paste the keyboard, resize 60%, place in position erasing the edge on the right and apply the drop shadow.
Paste music note 3 above the tube, resize 65%, apply the drop shadow, place in position and do some erasing so the notes are wrapped around the tube.
Paste flower 11, resize 40%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.
Paste heart 3, on the top, resize 110%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.
Paste wing 2, resize 30%, duplicate and mirror the duplicate, place in position and apply the drop shadow.
Paste barbed wire, resize 45%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.
Paste flower 10, resize 50% and mirror, place in position and apply the drop shadow.
Paste flower 14, resize 45%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.
Paste bow 1, resize 50%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.
Paste flower 9, resize 45% and rotate 80 degrees to the right, place in position and apply the drop shadow.
Pate flower 7, resize 40%, drag below all the roses, duplicate, mirror the duplicate, place in position and apply the drop shadow to each.
Paste butterfly 1, resize 35%, duplicate, mirror one, place in position and apply the drop shadow to each.
Check your layers and make any adjustments, then crop your tag, add your copyright information and text and, if you are not continuing with the animation, export on a transparent background as a png.
First we need to recolour the animation white so open the PSD file of it in Paint Shop and recolour each frame (if you need help with re-colouring check out the info on my Tips & Tricks) page. When you have recoloured all the frames, activate the top one, right click and copy it then paste it in Animation Shop “as a new animation”. Back in Paint Shop, activate the layer below the top one, again right click and copy and this time paste in Animation Shop “Before current frame”. Working down, repeat this with all the layers then resize the animation in Animation Shop by 60% (Animation – Resize Animation). Check the animation is working properly and then you can delete the frames in Paint Shop.
Go back to your tag and starting at the bottom, close off all the layers up to and including the keyboard, click on one of the open layers and “Merge Visible”. Close off the merged layer, open all the closed ones and again Merge Visible.
Click on the base merged layer, copy it and paste it in Animation Shop as “A new animation” then duplicate it until you have 13 copies (the same number of copies as Simone’s animation). Activate Simone’s animation, go to Edit – Select All – Edit – Copy, activate your merged layer frames, again go to Edit – Select All then right click on the first frame, go to “Paste into selected frame” and paste the animation on the left on the keyboard. Again select all the merged frame layers and paste Simones animation a second time on the keyboard slightly lower and further over on the right.
Back in paintshop, copy your top merged layer and paste it in Animation Shop as “A new animation” then duplicate it so again you have 13 copies. Select all these copies, select all the copies in your new animation and paste this top merged layer on your new animation.
When you have done, run your animation through the Optimization Wizard and save it as a Gif.
