- Hello and welcome to my blog! I am Vivienne, living in the UK and married with a son who now lives in Perth, Australia and a daughter who has given me two gorgeous grandsons! Paint Shop has been my hobby for more years than I can remember and I love making tags. I have always loved doing tutorials written by others and a couple of years ago started writing them myself. As well as tag tutorials, I also have a Tips and Tricks page where you will find tutorials on basic Paint Shop techniques. I hope you enjoy my blog and have fun with my tutorials. Please be sure also to check out the Tag Gallery and see some of the awesome results to the tutorials!

and is totally free if you purchase Barbara's Pack 7
or any tubes by Barbara to the value of $10 from the store.
Offer ends 31st December, 2107.
Open a new transparent canvas 750 by 700 pixels and fill with white.
Make a new layer, fill with colour 844904,apply my mask and resize it 95%.
Make another layer, select all, paste paper 7 into the selection, deselect, apply Misteeque’s mask, resize it 90% and change the blend mode to “Soft Light.
Paste the cluster and resize it 80%.
Paste your tube and resize it so it fits nicely in the moon then apply a drop shadow of vertical 0, horizontal 5, opacity 65, blur 10. Activate the cluster layer, click anywhere on the canvas outside of the cluster to make a selection, go back to the tube, it delete and deselect.
Right click on the tube and copy it, right click again somewhere off the canvas and “Paste as a new Image”. Apply the 20-20 mask to the tube twice, delete the original tube that is on the tag and replace it with this copy, recolour the tube #e7e59f, change the blend mode on it to “Overlay” and lower the opacity to around 70.
Apply your copyright information.
Set your foreground colour to a bright colour that will show up well on your tag and close off the background colour, open your preset Ellipse Tool and set the width to 2.
Now draw an oval shape following the shape of the cluster something like my screenshots below (leave it as a vector).
Set your background colour to 79290b and close off the foreground colour. Open your text tool, find the font and set it to bold (you will need to experiment with size), Hold your cursor on the vector ellipse where you want your text to start until you see the [T] come up and then type your text and apply it. Look at the text layer in your Layers Palette and you will see a small arrow to the side of it, click on that arrow and that will open the vector layers, click on the eye to hide the ellipse layer and then convert the text layer to a raster layer. Apply a bevel and a drop shadow to the text and adjust its position (you can resize if you like).
I did bit of colouring on my text to use the darker colour in the butterfly.
When you are all done, crop your tag and export it on a transparent background as a png.
