About Me
- Vivienne
- Hello and welcome to my blog! I am Vivienne, living in the UK and married with a son who now lives in Perth, Australia and a daughter who has given me two gorgeous grandsons! Paint Shop has been my hobby for more years than I can remember and I love making tags. I have always loved doing tutorials written by others and a couple of years ago started writing them myself. As well as tag tutorials, I also have a Tips and Tricks page where you will find tutorials on basic Paint Shop techniques. I hope you enjoy my blog and have fun with my tutorials. Please be sure also to check out the Tag Gallery and see some of the awesome results to the tutorials!

In this tutorial I
again used the fabulous art of Barbara Jensen.
You need a license to
use Barbara’s art,
available at her
store, here.
The beautiful kit is
called “Beautiful Moments” by
This is a gorgeous
kit and complements many of Barbara’s tubes.
The kit is also
available at Barbara’s store.
You will also need a
mask, I used Insatiable Dreams mask 365,
here.
Script font of choice.
Your elements will need to be sharpened up after
resizing/rotating as it makes them a little blurry; check out my Tips and
Tricks page for more info.
I used a drop shadow of vertical and horizontal 5, opacity 75, blur 5.
Open a new transparent canvas 650 by 600 pixels and flood
fill with white.
Open pp2 and copy.
Make a new layer on your canvas, select all, paste the paper into the
selection, deselect and apply the mask.
Resize 90%.
Open el24 and paste as a new layer. Resize 80%, move over to the left and apply
the drop shadow.
Open el2 and paste as a new layer. Resize 75% and rotate 15 degrees to the
right, place in position on the right and apply the drop shadow.
Open el1 and paste as a new layer. Resize 85%, place in
position and apply the drop shadow.
Open your tube, paste as a new layer, resize as needed,
place in position and apply the drop shadow.
If you are using one of Barbara’s layered tubes, duplicate and close the
original, choose your layer options and copy merged.
Open el22 and paste as a new layer. Rotate 30 degrees to the right, drag down
below the tube, place in position and apply the drop shadow.
Open el8c and paste as a new layer. Resize 65%, place in position and apply the
drop shadow.
Open el23, paste as a new layer and bring to the top. Resize 90% and rotate 70 degrees to the left
and place in position.
Open el14b and paste as a new layer. Resize 50%, place in position and apply the
drop shadow.
Open el16 again and paste as a new layer. Flip, resize 60%, drag down below the bow and
position on the right. Duplicate, mirror
the duplicate, bring it to the top and position on the left. Apply the drop shadow to both layers.
Open el29 and paste as a new layer. Resize 80%, place in position and apply the
drop shadow.
Open el25 and paste as a new layer. Resize 60%, place in position and apply the
drop shadow.
Open el13 and paste as a new layer. Mirror, resize 50%, place in position and
apply the drop shadow.
Open el8 and paste as a new layer. Resize 55%, place in position and apply the
drop shadow.
Open el27 and paste as a new layer. Resize 70%, place in position and apply the
drop shadow.
Open el28 and paste as a new layer. Resize 75%, place in position and apply the
drop shadow.
Open el10 and paste as a new layer. Resize 40% and rotate 20 degrees to the left,
place in position and apply the drop shadow.
Open el11 and paste as a new layer. Resize 45%, place in position and apply the
drop shadow.
Check the positions of your layers and make any necessary adjustments. When you are done, crop your tag and add your copyright information and text, then export as a jpeg with compression set to 5 or on a transparent background as a png.
I hope you enjoyed this tutorial, if you have any questions, please email me here and don't forget to send me your result, I love to see them and include them in the gallery!
