About Me
- Vivienne
- Hello and welcome to my blog! I am Vivienne, living in the UK and married with a son who now lives in Perth, Australia and a daughter who has given me two gorgeous grandsons! Paint Shop has been my hobby for more years than I can remember and I love making tags. I have always loved doing tutorials written by others and a couple of years ago started writing them myself. As well as tag tutorials, I also have a Tips and Tricks page where you will find tutorials on basic Paint Shop techniques. I hope you enjoy my blog and have fun with my tutorials. Please be sure also to check out the Tag Gallery and see some of the awesome results to the tutorials!

You need a license
to use Anna’s art, now available at
I used the fab
formerly pay to use and now freebie kit
“Memories”
From
(click on Freebie Kits at the top and scroll down a couple of pages).
You will need my
mask
0020.
Font of choice.
I used a drop shadow of vertical 0, horizontal 5, opacity
85, blur 10.
Open a new transparent canvas 750 by 800 pixels and fill
with white.
Make a new layer, select all, paste paper 8 into the selection,
deselect, apply the mask and resize it 85%.
Paste window and resize 75%. Click anywhere on your canvas outside of the
window to make a selection, invert the selection and contract it by 10, make a
new layer below the window, paste paper 9 into the selection and deselect. Apply the drop shadow to the frame, merge it
down onto the paper and move into position.
Paste steps, resize 85%, place in position and apply the
drop shadow.
Paste music sheet, resize 60% and rotate 20 degrees to
the right, drag below the steps and window, place in position and apply the
drop shadow.
Paste flowers above the window, resize 40%, place in
position and apply the drop shadow.
Paste web, resize 50%, duplicate, merge the copy down
onto the original, place in position and apply the drop shadow.
Paste frame 5, resize 30% and rotate 20 degrees to the left. Select the interior of the frame with your
magic wand and expand the selection by 10, make a new layer below it and fill with
black. Paste your tube, resize as needed
and position in the frame, invert the selection, hit delete on the tube and
deselect. I resized my tube 90%. Change the blend mode on the tube to “Luminance
(Legacy)” and lower the opacity to around 70 and apply the drop shadow to the
frame.
Paste the clock, resize 50%, place in position and apply
the drop shadow.
Paste leaves, resize 40% and rotate 60 degrees to the
left, place in position and apply the drop shadow.
Paste flower 5, resize 40% and rotate 20 degrees to the left,
place in position and apply the drop shadow.
Paste leaves 2, resize 50%, duplicate, mirror and flip
one copy, place in position and apply the drop shadow to each.
Paste clock 2, resize 50%, place in position and apply the
drop shadow.
Paste jug, resize 40%, place in position and apply the
drop shadow.
Paste scatter 2, resize 55%, place in position and apply
the drop shadow.
Paste the main tube on the top, desaturate and resize
65%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.
Paste sparkle, drag below the tube and place in position.
Paste lantern on the top, resize 40%, place in position
and apply the drop shadow.
Paste rose, resize 15% and rotate 150 degrees to the left,
place in position and apply the drop shadow.
Paste radio, resize 40%, place in position and apply the
drop shadow.
Paste ribbon, resize 40%, place in position and apply the
drop shadow.
Paste book, resize 35%, place in position and apply the
drop shadow.
Paste heart, resize 15% and rotate 20 degrees to the
right, place in position and apply the drop shadow.
Paste newspaper, resize 50%, place in position and apply
the drop shadow.
Paste flower 3, resize 30%, place in position and apply
the drop shadow.
Paste hairpin, resize 30% and rotate 20 degrees to the
right, place in position and apply the drop shadow.
Paste keys, resize 30% and rotate 20 degrees to the
right, place in position and apply the drop shadow.
Check your layers and make any adjustments.
Draw an oblong selection around the bottom of the tubes
hair and delete it, right click and paste as a new layer, bring the hair to the
top and join the two parts up so the hair is now hanging above the radio.
When you are done, crop your tag, add your copyright
information and text and export on a transparent background as a png.
